  1. As Phil from Duck Dynasty is suspended. Must be great to hate and think oneself “tolerant” while doing so. Only in the mind of a radical, hate filled leftist. If Perry were here he’d call me a greedy racist. Merry winter holiday.

  2. Phil was suspended for using HIS 1st Amendment Rights. The Producers and the PC A-Holes don’t believe he has a 1st Amendment Right to speak freely and express his opinions. Only the PC A-Holes can possess them.

  3. You got it Yorkshire. I for one would like to go on record and agree with Duck Phil: I prefer women’s vaginas over men’s anus’s. If the homo-loving Nazi’s at A&E can’t handle that then too bad.

  4. It amuses me that the Nazi’s at A&E find it necessary to bleep out Jesus’s name in prayers but they are offended when a straight guy points out the truth about homo perversions. Again, leftist don’t want tolerance (hell, they don’t practice it) they want celebration of every perverted idea. Do they realize that Phil used to be one of them? Yep! He was a burned out pot smoking, bug infested hippy once. Oh, I see, he found Christ so now he’s the enemy. He now understands the difference between right and wrong (or right and left if you will) and that can’t be tolerated. Who knows, free thought and moral beliefs may spring up all over the place and they couldn’t have that! They’d loose all their “victims” if those victims believed in Christ instead of govmn’t welfare.

  5. Though I have never seen the show, and know very little about it, Robertson is obviously well off with real options. If he is willing to accept a suspension – that is to say a hand slap – from A&E over remarks they have monitored him making in GQ, rather than escalating the conflict, then that is his problem.

Perhaps he’s a performer, a hireling, rather than a real person concerned with his natural and political rights.

Of course he obviously has a lot of pressure on him, and as a self-professed Christian he is liable to being accused of un-Christlike by those coprophagous hysterics who are neither Christians nor have any use for any of Christian doctrines, except those they might find useful for refashioning as polemical weapons; tools for staking unjustifiable claims on others who would be better off if the claimant were out of their life completely.

An additional difficulty he will encounter in getting a hearing is the gleeful collectivist degeneracy of most of those in the media. Even the alternate media are beginning to try and enforce PC standards, as with the HuffPo/AOL. Most people long ago left AOL e-mail service for less offensive portals or service providers. But longtime users will be aware that the sallow, oily, shadow and the sour smell of Ariana Huffington has thoroughly permeated what was a once tolerable web portal.

  6. A politically correct darkness is over the entire nation. Miley Cyrus is “cute”, the Kardashians are “funny” but a person like Phil who voices his opinion about men doing other men is suspended. Somehow the filthy, disgusting FACTS about homosexuality cause a stir when in fact homosexuality itself should be the pariah. As usual with the left, TRUTH is the first casualty.

  7. White, Christian, Straight People Need To Shut Up

Posted By The Liberated Conservative on Dec 19, 2013 in Articles, Christianity,

Phil Robertson, the Founding Father of the Duck Dynasty show on A&E, was interviewed for an article in GQ Magazine, and because he spoke of his beliefs in regards to Homosexuality and quoted the Bible, A&E has decided to suspend him indefinitely from the show because they got some pressure from the homosexual rights organization, GLAAD.

We are not writing this article today to continue on with the story, but to take on the underlying truth here. The truth that the racist pendulum in the United States has swung to the other side. Yes! We said it! To be white, Christian or heterosexual in America (or God forbid, all 3) today is to be suppressed. If you fall into any of those categories, you better watch what you say, no matter what you think because otherwise, you are going to get the brunt of everyone else’s opinion. In that battle, you will lose.

Let’s think about this for a minute. Currently, we are getting ready to take down the Mount Soledad Cross in California because it’s offensive, neighbors protest a family for their Christmas Lights on their own house by sending a hate letter because it’s offensive, many Christian military personnel are no longer allowed to pray because it’s offensive, and we could give you a hundred more recent examples, but you get the point. We have gone to the complete other side to try and please the minority in our country, and in doing so, the majority are quickly becoming the minority.

Do you think the Phil Robertson explosion would have been so newsworthy had it been said by a black female? We hardly think so and to prove that; we would like to share this short video below with you. (At the link)

This Mecklenburg County North Carolina Commissioner said, back in June of this year, that the new county manager should be anyone but a white male, and you know what, she is still sitting as a county commissioner today. While she did get a little news coverage for this incident, it was only on a local level, and it fizzled out and died within days.

Today, we have BET (Black Entertainment Television), The National Black Chamber of Commerce, the Miss Black USA Pageant and dozens of other Racially Supported organizations. What do you think would happen if we started the White Television Network or we renamed the US Chamber of Commerce the National White Chamber of Commerce or if the Miss USA Pageant became the Miss White USA Pageant? You know, and I know, that all hell would break loose. Every activist organization in the country would be in an uprising and suing for such things but as a white Christian, you better not say anything. Political Correctness really only applies to the white, Christian, heterosexual people of our country today. Everyone else is protected by the 1st Amendment. We’re sorry, but to put it bluntly, that is just screwed up! That’s as racist as you are ever going to get.

If we truly want equality of human beings to exist in this world, if it even really can exist because reality is that people are different, white, Christian, straight people need to start voicing their opinions and let their voices be heard that the 1st Amendment does, in fact, apply to White, Christian, Straight people too.

The question is: Why should we humans submit to the left wingers on ANY level? Who made them our lords and masters?”

    1. There is no reason according to the left wingers’ own theory of life. However conservatives are saddled by inhibiting principles that the organisms of the left long ago jettisoned as inconvenient.

    2. Government schools conditioning, is probably as good a de facto answer as any.

You may have noticed too, how rapidly various web sites aligned with the collaborationist media, such as the HuffPo/AOL, are attempting to abolish that anonymity supposedly so cherished by leftist commenters in the past.

La Arianne, she of the cold cream glistening face, insists it’s for the sake of civility, though the negative instance she actually adduces in support of her new program of collective nickering, comes from overseas and Twitter, not her own web portal and e-mail service. What it’s actually all about, is not civility but narrowing comment to the house chorus … those for example, who are willing to denounce Robertson’s “vile” comments. That is to say, those anxious to denounce his calling a thing by its name, rather than by an absurd euphemism.

Instead it will be: “You are invited to denounce” “You are invited to applaud and praise” “You are expected to show enthusiasm” “Now you shall get sentimental”

But we all already know this. And we have known it for a long time. And now we have outright fascism in this country, brought to us by the Democrat party and their “individual mandate”, and as acquiesced to or supported by I’m sorry to say, many of our own “friends, and possibly relatives. At least “in-laws” of a remove or two.

Thus ringing our little alarm bells in each others’ faces has become increasingly ridiculous. The question is, what do we intend to do about this situation other than complain to each other and pose indignant questions to those who agree with us already?

We should probably be constructing alternative social and exchange arrangements with those known not to be enemies of freedom, and getting in the faces of those who are.

Mt poor father is not looking forward to my up coming conversation with a certain sister-in-law.

Like I said, “Hey dad, the time for temporizing and playing games with these people socially, is over. They, these Democrat-fascists, are enemies of freedom no matter what their formal relationships, and they need to be brought to at least admit it. They need to know they are Demo-Nazi parasites … or at least be told.”

At least that is what I am telling him and myself …. He’s holding his head and saying “That will be the end of the family!” LOL

Limbaugh: ‘Duck Dynasty’ Flap Signals Backlash on Political Correctness

The controversy over “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson and his views on homosexuality could prove to be a tipping point for people “sick and tired of being pushed around by a very small minority of leftists,” talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Thursday.

“There could be an effervescing tipping point taking place out there, below the surface, right now, that nobody’s aware of, fed up with this,” Limbaugh said on his radio show.

“I think a lot of people are sick and tired of being pushed around by a very small minority of leftists who use weapons, like political correctness and censorship, intimidation, and everything else, in order to shut up the people who say things they don’t want to hear or disagree with,” he added.

Limbaugh said he thought the Robertson family was more interested in using their show “to speak up and spread their Christian values,” than to “spread the word about their duck business.”

The homosexual community makes up a “tiny percentage” of the population, while Christians comprise over 200 million people, Limbaugh said. He argued it was a minority dominating “political correctness and speech, and even behavior.”

The A&E network suspended Robertson from the show Thursday over the controversy. Limbaugh maintained the only one who had been harmed from the issue was Robertson, who lost his job on the show.

“Phil Robertson never did anything to anybody. And, he still hasn’t done anything to anybody. He’s the only one that’s been really discriminated against here. He lost his gig at the ‘Duck Dynasty’ show,” Limbaugh said.

“At some point, enough people are going to say, ‘Okay, enough of this.’ And, they’re going to stand up and say, ‘Just shut up.’”

  10. I hope Limbaugh is right. The first sign of a backlash came last summer when, in response to a threatened boycott of Chick Fil A, hordes of people lined up to buy their food. Bullying only works until you stand up to the bully.

  11. Who defines our rights, and why I stand with Phil.

Written by Allen West on December 20, 2013

This morning as I did my regular run and workout I was thinking about the real issue surrounding Phil Robertson. Too many are focused on the words spoken, but there are some deeper issues to ponder. For me, the prevailing issue is centered around one word: “rights.”

Phil Robertson is a born-again Christian and I’m quite sure the executives at A&E knew that from the get go. Phil was paraphrasing the following:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (New International Version)

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

The unalienable right from our Creator that Phil has is his “pursuit of happiness” and Mr. Robertson defines that as his Christian faith — that is his right.

Furthermore, as codified in our US Constitution, Phil has the rights of free speech, freedom of religion, and the free exercise of religion. It’s funny to me that some believe American freedom of expression includes burning our beloved flag, but I guess Phil’s is not tolerated.

Which brings up another key point, who is the guardian of tolerance? Who sits back and defines what is or is not to be tolerated? There is a theocratic-political totalitarian ideology that operates freely in America — and across the world — that executes those who engage in same-sex relationships. But I don’t hear too much complaint against them. Did Phil take it too far using some crude language? Maybe, but then again, that’s his image, a simple straight talking American man, and it seems A&E loves it when it’s making them money.

A&E is Phil Robertson’s employer. I don’t know what his specific contract states, but A&E is economically profiting from the Christian faith and the subsequent popularity of Phil Robertson and the “Duck Dynasty” trademark enterprise — it goes way beyond just a show.

A&E has their own brand and as a private sector employer they have the right to hire and fire as they choose, albeit in this case it seems they’ve overreacted and are suffering the consequences. It has to be a matter of concern for all of us in America when special interest groups believe they can bring pressure and punish organizations due to their “dislikes.” How far could this aspect of censorship go?

Should A&E have suspended Phil Robertson? My assessment is no. Should A&E have had a chat with Phil before the GQ interview and discussed their concerns? Yes. Does A&E have the right to prevent Phil from doing interviews? Depends on the parameters of his contract.

The third component to analyze is the pressure from gay advocacy special interest groups. Last night on “The Kelly File” on Fox, a gentleman representing GLAAD stated that “Phil Robertson wanted freedom from consequence.”

Oh come on. These groups want freedom from any dissenting views. This is the danger in America when we start to grant “rights” to groups based upon behavioral choices. I often wonder, what if you choose to be bisexual? Do you lose half of your gay rights or only get part of your straight rights?

Every American has the right to the “pursuit of happiness.” If your “pursuit of happiness” means a same-sex relationship, very well.

But we must not then seek to redefine all other aspects of established societal norms just to appease. There should be no discrimination based upon sexual preference, but then again, there shouldn’t be any preferential discrimination against those who disagree. Case in point — the lawsuit against the New Mexico couple who refused to photograph a same-sex marriage because it was not in concert with their faith.

And no, I don’t see this as a civil rights struggle such as that for women (gender) or for blacks (race), or other ethnicity. Gender, race and ethnicity are not lifestyles.
