One of the things I did when I suspended the old site and then started The First Street Journal was to get away from using my real name and start going by the Editor. Now, my real name is no secret, but I was becoming concerned that google searches might somehow link my blog writing too closely to my professional life. I run a concrete plant for a living, but I am an employee, I am not the owner, and it concerned me that my political and economic views might somehow be tied to my employer.
For several years, the most beautiful blogger in the Tarheel State had kept her identity a secret. I don’t know all of her reasons, but I’d guess that part of it had to do with her professional position, and part due to the oh-so-pleasant nature of the “fan mail” she has received.
But, it seems that the liberals in North Carolina just couldn’t stand that, and threatened to expose her real name if she didn’t shut up. Sis tried to work around it for a few months, but then went ahead and beat them to the punch:
Chillaxin’ on a beautiful fall afternoon here in Charlotte. Windows are open, letting fresh air in.
BTW, as y’all are aware, my NC liberal stalkers have been trying to “out” my real name in an attempt to silence me for months. So I did it before they did a couple of weeks ago in a conversational announcement – and today officially on my Twitter page, proving 1) I”m not the GOP operative they think I am and 2) they will not silence me. Ever.
Have a great weekend!
Nice to ‘meet’ you : )
Sis had actually made this announcement a week or so ago on Facebook, but I wasn’t going to write about it until she posted it on her website. She has taken the attempts of the Democrats to silence her and showed just how effective they were. More power to her!
For those who know, I normally refer to Robert
Stacey Stacy McCain in that fashion, tweaking him a bit on how he spells his name, because one of my sisters is named Stacey, but Sister Toldjah is not that Stacey!
