Russian Paper: “Once Drug Addict Obama Cannot Fight Against Vladimir Putin”

How many people could ever have thought of Barack Obama making a statement that he was going to send missiles into any country, much less Syria? Then we have to ask why has he gone from a roaring lion to a paper tiger? Obama was going to attack first and ask questions later, he was drawing the line in the sand, yet when time came and that line was allegedly crossed, like a school yard bully, he says “That was the world’s red line, I never did that!” Now that we have seen the United States snickered at and in some places laughed at like the Rodeo Clown Obama and his friends demeaned, we see a man that is lost and has no way out. Just what does Russia think of him? They laugh as if Obama is the clown, and he is not in any sort of rodeo! Should anyone wonder just what some, if not all the people of Russia and maybe the world, think of Obama right now? All we have to do is look at recent articles about Obama in the Pravda paper, which is a Russian publication.

The following commentary comes from just one of many articles popping up all over Russia and the world especially after Obama drew the “red line,” then another and then another! The following words are from Xavier Lerma:

Even though the US thinks they are in charge of humanity the reality is they are not. In their imaginary world the toothless media supports their spit ball shooting president. They actually think their words are supreme and final. Kerry and McCain keep dancing in a parade trying to influence a congress which is neither conservative nor moral but nevertheless war weary. The once drug addict now US leader cannot fight against Vladimir Putin who brought Russia from poverty in the 90′s to a more stable economy today. Obama’s buffoonery selling the war against Syria has hit a wall thanks to President Putin’s firm stance and leadership.

  1. Well, York, in all honesty I have to acknowledge the Russian papers aren’t saying much of anything against Barack Obama that I haven’t already said more often and in stronger language. And, if Putin gets credit for Russia’s economic resurgence, he’s certainly more entitled to accolades than Obama is for causing America’s economic misery.

I’m not suggesting that we can take Putin’s word for gospel, but right now, on the Syrian question, he’s established hi

They’re confirming a view the writers and most of the respondents have here. I haven’t been fooled since Day 1 as most of us haven’t been. The sad thing is now how pronounced it is and so obvious to the world. The world’s would be emporer has no clothes at all.

  3. Either a cliche, the devil, or the NSA is hacking my computer. Obviously I wasn’t ready to submit my comment: continued…

…I’m not suggesting that we can take Putin’s word for gospel, but right now, on the Syrian question, he’s established himself as more reliable than either Obama or Kerry. Both Americans have rushed to the conclusion that Assad’s forces used chemical weapons against women and children, while Putin represents the reasonable position that it’s more likely chemical weapons were used by al-Qaeda insurgents and that before any military attack on Syria is launched, the actual perpetrators must be unmistakably identified.

Knock me over with a feather, but Vladimir Putin is talkin’ horse sense to this Red, White, and Blue Nephew of my Uncle Sam, and Obama’s sellin’ snake oil and comin’ up short across the board.

  4. Judge Napolitano on FOX NEWS just leveled a dagger at Obama’s heart. He described Vladimir Putin as a cold blooded ex-KBG agent trained to spy, torture, and destroy. While Barack Obama was trained at Harvard in Constitutional Law.

Then Napolitano asked, Given what we’ve been hearing from them lately, which one sounds like a Nobel Peace Prize recipient and which one sounds like a killer?

    Another Enemy Of American Exceptionalism

“It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.” Vladimir Putin

I’m inclined to agree with Vladimir, it is dangerous to encourage individuals to see themselves as exceptional. The annals of history are full of pampered megalomaniacs so disordered as to condemn the lives of others to the caprice of their superiority psychosis. Putin may be one of them, Obama certainly is.

Yet, America is Exceptional. Our nation offers more freedom, more opportunity, more chance for ordinary individuals to achieve success if they’re willing to work hard and obey the law than any other country ever has.

The important distinction here is that only an exceptional nation can provide equality for it’s people.

That’s what makes America exceptional and we can’t let ego driven petty potentates like the temporary occupant in the White House take it away from us.

    But should be:
Yet, America is Exceptional. Our nation offers at one time did offer more freedom, more opportunity, more chance for ordinary individuals to achieve success if they’re willing to work hard and obey the law than any other country ever has.

  7. Here’s what I just wrote to an e-mail friend who had posted Putin’s NY Times piece:

Well, there’s no denying this old KGB Commie hasn’t lost the fine art of spreading political bullshit. The only thing is – if we had a REAL president instead of a pretend one, we sure as hell wouldn’t be treating Putin like he was some kind of equal on the world stage.

  8. York, point taken. You’re correct, at one time, the time of my youth, before Affirmative Action replaced individual merit with group skin color, then gender, and now sexual perversion, America did offer opportunity for achievement, but once LBJ got away with the assassination of JFK and split the nation over the Vietnam War, only the hollow echo of our former greatness remains to commemorate liberty’s requiem.

  9. Ropelight demonstrates himself a fool yet again:

” At least five large studies in recent years have found the United States to be less mobile than comparable nations. A project led by Markus Jantti, an economist at a Swedish university, found that 42 percent of American men raised in the bottom fifth of incomes stay there as adults. That shows a level of persistent disadvantage much higher than in Denmark (25 percent) and Britain (30 percent) — a country famous for its class constraints.

Meanwhile, just 8 percent of American men at the bottom rose to the top fifth. That compares with 12 percent of the British and 14 percent of the Danes. “

  10. American exceptionalism has nothing to do with any of that nonsense you dumbass foreigner. What makes us exceptional is not found in studies or statistics it’s found in our National Soul. The same way what makes you a dumbass is found in yours.

Sounds like one of Blu’s “Experts”. The beauty of the Internet is you can always find some clown who will say something to reinforce your pre-existing POV.

You know, you really should get out of the house, away from the computer, and stop living in an artificial reality where you rely on Google for every piece of information you have about life.

  12. Sounds like one of Blu’s “Experts”.

To you, Eric, anyone who actually knows anything about what they’re talking about is not to be trusted.

This is because you are a poster child for Dunning-Kruger.

  13. Here’s an excerpt from Shelby Steele’s 9/1/11 Opinion article in the Wall Street Journal on the topic of American Exceptionalism, Obama and the Burden of Exceptionalism.

… Americans cannot help but feel some ambivalence toward our singularity in the world—with its draining entanglements abroad, the selfless demands it makes on both our military and our taxpayers, and all the false charges of imperial hubris it incurs. Therefore it is not surprising that America developed a liberalism—a political left—that took issue with our exceptionalism. It is a left that has no more fervent mission than to recast our greatness as the product of racism, imperialism and unbridled capitalism.

But this leaves the left mired in an absurdity: It seeks to trade the burdens of greatness for the relief of mediocrity. When greatness fades, when a nation contracts to a middling place in the world, then the world in fact no longer knocks on its door. (Think of England or France after empire.) To civilize America, to redeem the nation from its supposed avarice and hubris, the American left effectively makes a virtue of decline—as if we can redeem America only by making her indistinguishable from lesser nations.

  14. That’s a good piece by Shelby Steele, but I think he underestimates the mendacity and evil of the Left. They don’t want to “Redeem” America, they want to destroy it, or at least the vision of America as defined by the Founders. And in its place, they want some sort of Marxist empire instead. Marxism and freedom cannot coexist, therefore freedom and American values have to be destroyed.
