Becky Garritson; president of an Alabama Tea Party organization summed up the BO Administration and all its Scandals in one short quote. For those in the BO Admin who did understand, had to say “OUCH”. Rep. McDermott (Commie-Washington) sure didn’t get it. In typical Progressive/ Liberal/ Commie fashion, he blamed the victim. He told Becky Garritson it was her FAULT and she was greedy. Thank goodness Paul Ryan put him in his place. And today on FOX, McDermott doubled down on being a complete ASS.
America Is Suffering Political Blood Poisoning With The IRS Scandal
by Frank Camp
Charles Caleb Colton said: “Corruption is like a ball of snow, once it’s set a rolling, it must increase.”
Corruption is a dereliction of duty. There is only one expectation to which I hold a politician; and it is that they must have the interest of the people upon their minds at all times. Once an elected official suspends their interest in the people, and allows self-interest to take over, they are no longer trustworthy. That is simple moral and social law, in my book.
Just as Colton said, once that snowball of self-interest starts to roll down the hill, it can only gain speed and mass. Yesterday, Congress heard the testimony of several key Conservative groups whose organizations were targeted by the IRS. Among all the talking, there was one bit of testimony that really grabbed my attention. Becky Garritson; president of an Alabama Tea Party organization said this:
“I’m a born free, American woman, wife, mother, and citizen. And I’m telling my government that you’ve forgotten your place…I’m not interested in scoring political points. I want to protect and preserve the America that I grew up in. The America that people cross oceans and risk their lives to become a part of. And I’m terrified that it’s slipping away. Thank you.”
There are people—mostly on the Left—who are trying their level best to make this breach of the law look like a minor bump in the road. They want nothing more than to move on and forget about this scandal. There are Americans who don’t think it’s that big of a deal that the IRS would target a specific group. What those people are missing—deliberately or due to a lack of brain cells—is that corruption is never a standalone unit.
If we cannot trust our government, this is no longer a democracy; it’s a farce. I don’t want to play around anymore; I want answers and accountability. There are those who think that this is not a big deal. To those people, I say: open your stupid eyes.
