For some reason I cannot post comments on this Site any more, but I can log in and post articles.
Anyway, as mentioned in my last posting, I believe that this Site has, unfortunately, gone to hell and so there’s not much point in my posting any more. This is a comment I wanted to post on the “Ban Perry Permanently” thread:
I think the problem is Perry didn’t learn a thing from the first time he was banned. A smart person (and one with good mental health) would recognize that they were in the wrong and correct their behavior. Perry has done none of that. Indeed, he threatened Koolo’s job again, was warned not to do it, but kept right on doing it till he was banned again, then when called on it, lied about the reason he was banned and demanded “Citations” of his bad behavior, never mind everyone here was a witness to his actions.
He seems to be, among other things, a pathological liar.
Also, I have little doubt he would carry out his threats against Koolo if he were ever to acquire enough personal information about him to do so. That means, as long as Perry is here, Koolo and everyone else here will have to be on guard against letting slip any information that Perry could use against them. Threatening another person’s job is serious business and, personally, since Perry has shown no repentance for having been banned for it twice, it is fair to say he is a potential threat to everyone here, and for that reason alone should be banned for good.
Finally, I would like to give Perry a taste of his own medicine. Judging by his comments here, he is clearly mentally ill and judging by his obsession with getting Koolo fired, potentially dangerous as well. Therefore, if I had the proper information on him I would consider reporting him to the proper authorities where he could be committed on mental health grounds. Someone
with his diseased mind and history of threatening behavior should not be walking the streets.

I have no idea why you can’t post comments. Obviously, if yo can log in and post articles, you have access. What browser are you using?
Actually, I found the problem: the Akismet anti-spam program picked them up as spam. Have you by any chance been commenting on any liberal sites, where a site administrator could have marked you as a spammer? If so, and he was using Akismet, that would explain why my Akismet was filtering out your comments.
I found three of your comments in the spam queue, and released them. This tells Akismet that your comments are not spam, and should help on other sites as well.
I’m not too worried about him finding out where I live or what my job is, considering that I don’t live anywhere near Delaware, but all the same I try to guard my identity here and elsewhere online. He’s already accused me of “stalking” him just like he did with Koolo, although I refuted that nonsense in the original thread itself.
But I agree with Eric’s overall point.
I’ve encountered a lot of unstable trolls online, but Perry really takes the proverbial cake, that’s for sure.
Dana, thanks for fixing the problem.
Judging by his comments here, he is clearly mentally ill
Let’s see so far, your judgement has had you predicting Romney with at least 300 votes and you being a millionaire by now via selling your book to Hollywood.
When’s the movie coming out? Are you a millionaire? Is Romney President?
What makes you think your opinion on anybody’s mental health, or anything else, is worth a small, rotten bean?
Mentally ill, Pho, is threatening someone else’s livelihood over a mere disagreement on an Internet blog. Are you prepared to defend Perry’s actions? Can you honestly say these are the actions of someone with good mental hygeine?
Oh, and PS: I never said Romney would win by 300 votes (I think you meant Electoral College votes). I said, based on the state of the nation at the time, that he should win 40 states, but not that he would. Next time, get your facts straight.
“Mentally ill, Pho, ”
Eric, you shouldda stopped there!
Exactly!
Eric’s visions of his own grandeur, together with his arrogance which dictates that his opinions must be the last word, without ever giving one cite to defend them, bespeaks volumes about his self delusion. And worse, he deems himself qualified to determine someone’s mental health whom he has never even met, the height of arrogance, in my view.
I make no apologies about questioning koolo’s personal qualifications regarding his temperament, as exhibited on this blog, to be a classroom teacher, but I will repeat this about classroom teacher Hube: Mission accomplished! His demeanor on here, and on his own blog, has changed for the better, especially regarding the expectation one would have for a classroom teacher.
Would it be that koolo would/could undergo some serious self-examination, assuming he is even capable of so doing? He should realize this has nothing to do with political differences between us, but has everything to do with his stalking, his bullying, his incessant personal attacks, all qualities which, in my judgment, as a parent and classroom teacher myself, are not permissible for a classroom teacher.
Were koolo confident about his position, he would have no concern whatsoever were he to be turned in. Classroom teachers are actually routinely turned in by parents upset with grades or upset with the treatment of their child, at which time the administration must make a decision. This is routine. If koolo has passed this muster, he should have no concerns whatsoever, as regarding my own experience as a classroom teacher who was turned in several times over my ten years teaching. Classroom teachers understand this very well. But koolo exhibited great concern, didn’t he/she? Why is this?

And this would be different from your opinions on someone else’s fitness to hold a particular position how?
Because koolo’s behavior has everything to do with our children, that’s why. I am amazed that you do not understand this, Mr Editor. For partisan political purposes, you have allowed yourself to become insensitive to the behaviors of your own tribe.
“Because koolo’s behavior has everything to do with our children, that’s why.”
No it does not Wagonwheel. Koolo’s “behavior”, as you label it, has only to do with his interaction withyou. You don’t know him, you’ve never met him and you’ve never been in his classroom. Yet you seem to think it’s right to be his judge, jury and executioner about his career. What’s amazing is your overblown sense of self importance especially when you write something like “our children”. They are not our children, they’re sombody elses children but not yours and not mine and not “ours”. One thing they are is Koolo’s students, not yours. You seem to think that just because you have certain sensibilities you have the right and authority to inject youself into other people’s lives and the lives of their children. You don’t. For partisan political purposes you think you control and are responsible for everyone’s children and everyone’s career. On the one hand it makes you an emotional busybody and on the other hand it makes you a bully.
“…. but has everything to do with his stalking, his bullying, his incessant personal attacks, all qualities which, in my judgment, as a parent and classroom teacher myself, are not permissible for a classroom teacher.”
You are confusing what is permissible for a classroom teacher with what is permissible in a classroom. Screwing, smoking and drinking bourbon are permissible for a classroom teacher, but none are in a classroom.
Face it Wagonwheel, you don’t like the way Koolo attacks you, but you have no idea what kind of teacher he is any more than the rest of us do.
And yet, as others have noted, you have deemed yourself fit to judge Koolo’s fitness to teach children despite the fact you have never met him, either. But of course you are too puffed up with your own megalomania to see your wn blatant hypocrisy.
Your irrational obsession with Koolo is disturbing. It’s like Ahab and the White Whale. A normal, rational adult would just ignore him if his comments were rude and insulting, but you obviously lack the emotional maturity to do that.
Another question: Why are you such a control freak? You seem obsessed with trying to dictate how others behave on this Site, and now you are telling Dana how he should run his own blog! If you don’t like the behavior of some people on this Site, then leave! There are thousands of other political blogs, so there’s no reason for you to infest this one if you don’t like the way things are done here.
