Father of Slain SEAL: Who Made the Decision Not to Save My Son?

Charles Woods, the father Tyrone Woods, who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reveals details of meeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton at the publically broadcast memorial service for the slain Americans at Andrews Air Force Base only days after the attack. And, in a recent radio appearance, Woods publicly questions who made the call not to send in back-up forces to possibly save his son’s life, as well as the three other Americans killed in Benghazi (which includes the American ambassador to Libya).
When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that you’re son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”
Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”
For those who watch only Obama-shielding network news or CNN or MSNBC, the documented news that the CIA made THREE requests for assistance…and to assist…the beleagured consulate but were ordered by Obama Admin. to STAND DOWN will be a surprise. In light of this news, however, the father of the needlessly slain SEAL is angry & calling those who made the STAND DOWN orders “murderers.”
I understand partisan politics. I am a partisan conservative. However, it is incomprehensible to me that even the most partisan Democrat would consider supporting the presidency of the inept, clueless and dangerously untruthful Barack Obama. If Obama is reelected, I hope he and Hillary Clinton will be investigated and if the evidence proves true, criminally indicted and tried for their crimes.
Dictator Obama created an October Surprise all on his own.
The problem is that no one took the decision not to try to save his son, because no one took any decisions at all. We know that the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were watching events, in real time, and discussing their options, but actually did nothing. When WW asked me what I would have done, I said:
But WW would have none of that!
No, actually trying to rescue our people, why that would have been teh wrong thing to do, and might have caused even more trouble. He continued:
In other words, don’t bother with actually trying to save our people, but act like law enforcement and try to bring them to justice later.
Whether thoughts like that were going through the minds of the (non)decision-takers in the Administration, I can’t know, but their lack of initiative, their reticence to actually do something, their pusillanimity when facing a serious problem meant that the problem was not addressed, and the best that can be done now is to try to pick up the pieces.
General Martin E. Dempsey, United States Army, is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As a soldier, he is supposed to know, and live by, the Soldiers Creed, in which the soldier promises, in part, “I will never accept defeat. I will never quit. I will never leave a fallen comrade.” In effect, by doing nothing, general Dempsey left a fallen comrade.

Where was the commander-in-chief when American personnel were under attack? Did his minions not inform him? Was he part of the decision-taking process — which did nothing — and that part is being kept from us? Did he know and just tell Leon Panetta, “Handle it?”
However that question is to be answered, President Obama is responsible for the decisions taken — and not taken — and should be held to account.

Petraeus Throws Obama Under the Bus

Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”
So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.
It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need?
