We are to believe the bowing BO the appeaser will walk back with a Chamberlain Style Agreement. The Gullible PM from Britian believed Hilter, and then had his ass shot off, and this will be no different. The gullible Appeaser will come in and say Iran gave up and we have Peace in Our Time. For those who belive this, I have some land by the Cheaspeake Bay for sale, but only visit it at low tide on the new moon.

The BO October Surprise (or We Get Screwed)
Well we knew this was coming. Reminiscent of dealings that took place a little over thirty years ago as the same Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released the fifty-two American hostages that had been held for over a year on the day that President Ronald Reagan was inaugurated, a highly placed source is saying that Iran and U.S. negotiators have come to an agreement regarding Iran’s nuclear program. This agreement would ensure Iran could continue enrichment of uranium and remove sanctions placed on it by the United States. There is no question to the political timing of the news coming out.
I can’t say that this comes as any surprise. The saber rattling that was taking place frankly was more crying wolf, just as it has been for the past two decades.

French intelligence verified today that Yukiya Amano, the current director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has been given the go-ahead by the U.S. to be ready to travel to Iran and announce the agreement, according to Hamid Reza Zakeri, a former intelligence officer in the regime who has defected to Europe.
The source in Tehran said Khamenei has made it clear that unless he receives Obama’s written guarantees, he will not begin the process, which would dramatically boost Obama’s re-election chances. If the guarantees are not given, Khamenei has warned, Iran will speed up its nuclear program.
The guarantees would ensure the regime’s right to peaceful enrichment, quickly remove many of the sanctions, accept that Iran’s nuclear program does not have a military dimension and relieve international pressure on the regime while it continues its nuclear program. Also, the U.S. would announce that the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists was the work of a foreign country, though Israel would not be named, to increase legal pressure on Israel.

More at the link. We don’t know if it’s true or not; Mitt Romney has led such a perfect life that the Democrats are dumbfounded, and are looking for something, anything, with which to tarnish his image, and make the election about something other than President Obama’s actual record in office.
And these things can work: the very late revelation of George Bush’s DUI arrest and conviction — something he could have avoided being an issue if he had disclosed it himself, months earlier — probably cost him the popular vote win (he was slightly ahead right before that October surprise), and he — and the country — are damned fortunate for the electoral college system which put him in the White House. CBS News was going to try it in 2004, with a Sixty Minutes program on missing Iraqi weapons scheduled for two days before the election; it was only the fact that The New York Times went ahead with the story early which gave the Bush campaign sufficient time to respond and limit the damage.
Of course, the Iranians would want to see President Obama re-elected, because they know that, as long as he is in office, the United States will do nothing to stop the Iranian nuclear program, while if Mitt Romney is elected, he just might.

What does Iran have to lose in this deal?? Nothing. They’ll do it to get BO re-elected, congratulate their fellow muslim, and go on like nothing happened. And we’ll be the ultimate losers all the way around. They’ll build BO up, and then pull the magical Persian Rug from under his feet.

Mitt Romney has already tarnished his own reputation, and needs no help from any comments from either friend or foe. This is why we are beginning to see endorsements of Obama from surprising newspapers, one in Tampa, one in Colarado, and one in Salt Lake City of all places.
Regarding the alleged Iranian offer to negotiate, if this report is true, then we are seeing Iran attempting to hedge her bets, knowing that Romney has been making noises like a war hawk.
The unified sanction policy of President Obama may be squeezing the Iranians beyond what they can bear. Instead of speculating, let us wait to see what is really going on.

On the topic, not only are you factually incorrect, because as Candy Crowley indicated, President Obama did mention terrorism on day two. Thus Romney was caught in a lie, again, as the evidence has demonstrated.
There has been a lack of clarity about exactly what did happen, because as yet all the facts are not in. Perhaps we will never know.
Nevertheless, it is apparent that Republicans are trying to make a political issue out of this by selecting out what they can to make the President look bad.
And worse, Chairman Issa has released to the public documents which reveal the names of Libyans who are friendly to us. This borders on treason, in my view, and shows how desperate Republicans are on this issue, and on this election.
I am sure this will come up in Tuesday’s debate, so let us see if any new and credible information is forthcoming. I say credible, because Romney is well know as a fountain of non-credible statements, which right there disqualify him from the post he seeks.
