Given the Katrina fiasco of Seven Years ago, and the more orderly Isaac this year, the same question keeps coming up. The same question arises again: Would you live behind a wall of dirt built by any variation of Federal, State and Local goverment agencies 5 to 15 feet below sea level? During this storm one locally built levee was intentional breached to relieve pressures from the flooding waters. And the worst part is the Federal Government sells subsidized flood insurance to rebuild and do this all over again.

President Obama’s real problem was that he ran his mouth, and issued an empty threat. Now, actually doing the right thing in Syria looks like weakness, and the President’s word cannot be either trusted or even taken seriously.
