Rampage

Karen noted former Representative Pat Kennedy’s (D-RI) statement:

If the Court upholds the (ObaminableCare) law, dangerous Tea Party extremists will go on a rampage.

Karen asked:

If tea party people were the rampaging type, why didn’t they do so when Obamacare was passed in the first place?

But that’s just it: we did go on a rampage when ObaminableCare was passed. The problem for the Democrats is that we went on a rampage in the voting booth.

The formerly Distinguished Gentleman from Rhode Island and now just plain drug addict and alcoholic also stated that if the law was overturned:

Democrats will need to redouble our efforts, fighting to ensure universal health care that’s affordable and accessible to every American is a reality.

It will be interesting to see if the Supreme Court does invalidate part or all of the law, whether our friends on the left will redouble their efforts legislatively, or whether they will be the ones going on a rampage, smashing storefronts and burning cars.

The decision is expected to be announced a few minutes after 10:00 AM EDT on Thursday.

  1. After a while, it gets old listening to the same old song and dance. The liberals have always insisted that the Tea Party was a bunch of lunatics, ready to terrorize the people they disagree with. They have tried and tried and tried to pin the violence tail on the Tea Party donkey, but they always fail. Why, you may ask? Well, it’s because the liberals are usually guilty of the very things they are accusing the conservatives of. Will the liberals ever learn? How long will it take the Tea Party to live down a “reputation” they don’t even deserve?

The wisdom in Mr Kennedy’s statement has nothing to do with his personal problems, Mr Editor, so why did you have to highlight them?

Moreover, if you insist on pulling out some anecdotal behavior of leftie protestors, why not also point out the TEA Partiers who showed up at Obama rallies packing heat?

    The answer: Typical behavior!

  3. Could you kindly document for us TEA Party members who showed up at rallies for President Obama who were armed? The Secret Service would like to know about this.

Of course, even if some people were exercising their constitutional rights to keep and bear arms, I don’t recall any incidents of shots being fired by them; perhaps you do?

I highlighted Mr Kennedy’s personal problems to demonstrate just how much his opinion is really worth.

  4. Although I know you are well aware of this, Mr Editor, here is your citation anyway, one of many available citing this problem.

I am unaware of any shots having been fired, nor have I made that claim, although I am surprised it has not happened so far.

Your highlighting of Mr Kennedy’s problems was irrelevant, inappropriate, and has no bearing on his statement. But I understand, this is what you do.

  5. Oh, Kennedy’s problems are very relevant Wagonwheel. Only a complete moron with a drug cloged mind would make a statement like “dangerous Tea Party extremists will go on a rampage”. And only left wing radical would listen to such a fool.

And that certainly suits you-know-who to a tee!
