Rule 5 Blogging: Pictures from Iraq

It’s the weekend, and time, once again, for our version of Rule 5 Blogging . . . though your Editor has been somewhat late getting this post done today. Robert Stacy McCain described as putting pictures of pretty women somewhat deshabille, but, on this site, our Rule 5 Blogging doesn’t put up pictures of Anne Hathaway in her summer clothes, but women, in full military gear, serving their countries in the armed forces. The terribly sexist authors on this site celebrate strong women, women who can take care of themselves and take care of others, women who have been willing to put their lives on the line in some not-so-friendly places, women who truly do have the “We can do it!” attitude. Today, pictures from Iraq.

Full battle rattle.

An injury might have gotten her out of carrying some gear, but it didn't get her out of Iraq!

An MP, on duty.

This soldier has been working on a true Army tan: lower half of her face, and her hands!

  1. Oh, Editor, you missed my daughter in those pics. I have at least one pic from Iraq on my site. Also, my daughter has multiple Iraq pics on her FB page, if you can friend her to get to them.

    My daughter in Iraq.

  2. Yeah, that didn’t work so well. And I’m well past my bedtime so I’m not going to [I just had the standard-issue computer and manufacturing term but it escaped me suddenly. When you hunt down the problem causing your equipment, like a computer or a large machine, to malfunction when it's supposed to work right].

Anyway, here’s a link to my daughter in Iraq. She’s directly in front of Dane Cook. Note the firepower in that most exceedingly safe place. You think their weapons were empty? Well, do ya?
