By A Fluke, The Left Manufactured a Distraction From Gas, Unemployment, and BO’s Dismal Record

Dig and you find the Fluke debacle is a Manufactured Distraction (Excerpts from the Fluke Open Thread)York
Anyone who believes all that bile is a useful idiot for the Puppet Master, Soros. Let’s face it, Fluke is a manufactured crisis to distract the Proles from reality that Unemployment is back up to 9.1% – reality 15%, gas is $4 before the election instead of afterwards, price of goods are climbing, the Muddled East is ready to go nuclear along with the want of the fools there to eliminate Israel, Syria is a powderkeg, and the world is fixated on Fluck’s Fluckin Vagina. Can we spell distraction????

York, since I regard George Soros as a prominent useful idiot and one already marked for early execution following the communist takeover, it seems I failed to make myself clear.
Here’s an excerpt from Wikipedia on the topic: (indicates my added comments)

In political jargon, useful idiot is a pejorative term used to describe people perceived as propagandists for a cause whose goals they do not understand, who are used cynically by the leaders of the cause. (and who face summary execution once their immediate utility has expired)
The term was originally used to describe Soviet sympathizers in Western countries. The implication is that although the people in question naïvely thought of themselves as an ally of the Soviet Union, they were actually held in contempt and were being cynically used.
The use of the term in political discourse has since been extended to other propagandists, especially those who are seen to unwittingly support a malignant cause which they naively believe to be a force for good…
A similar term, “useful innocents”, is used in Austrian-American economist Ludwig von Mises’ “Planned Chaos”. Von Mises claims the term was used by communists for liberals that von Mises describes as “confused and misguided sympathizers”.
Modern usage: the term has been used by some commentators to describe people the commentators believe are effectively supporting Islamic terrorism by favouring an approach based on appeasement. Anthony Browne wrote in the British newspaper, The Times:
Elements within the British establishment were notoriously sympathetic to Hitler. Today the Islamists enjoy similar support. In the 1930s it was Edward VIII, aristocrats and the Daily Mail; this time it is left-wing activists, The Guardian and sections of the BBC. They may not want a global theocracy, but they are like the West’s apologists for the Soviet Union — useful idiots.
A 2010 BBC radio documentary lists among useful idiots of Joseph Stalin several prominent British writers including H. G. Wells and Doris Lessing, the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw, and the American journalist Walter Duranty and the
singer Paul Robeson.

York, I don’t disagree that Sandra Fluke is a manufactured distraction, but she’s only a mere pawn in the game insufficiently important to rate a footnote except as a current example of one of the organized Left’s standard tactics employed by useful idiots to deflect attention away from damaging revelations such as you listed above.

Whether they are the Used, or are the User, I sorta see them in the same light. May not fit the term 100% but they were still USED

“By what you are also doing here, change the subject to a distraction.”

Uh-huh. So in an open thread about a young woman who was called a “slut” and a “prostitute” by Rush Limbaugh, in response to people claiming conspiracies involving George Soros and Nancy Pelosi, asking how exactly these people made Limbaugh do anything is a “distraction”?
Do you even listen to your own words these days?

What words by Limbaugh are just a reaction to the absurdidy of the whole situation. It’s what happens when you look at the 200 ft level view of things. You certainly miss the 20,000 ft view of the situation. It’s like the debate where George Stephonopolis brought up contraception in the debate. Everyone of the candidates looked at this as a question from Left Field. Why was it asked? Now we know why. It was the Libs/Socialists 20,000 ft view to lead to distraction as I pointed out above. With Pelosi involved and others, it all makes sense now. It’s easier to get the proles thinking of sex and distract them from $3.999 per gallon of gas. It also distracts from 9.1% (really near 15%) unemployment. It’s like old Rome where there was Bread, the Circus and the Gladiators to distract from the reality Rome was becoming unraveled. Well, a lot of people have caught on to the distraction. If you want to keep on talking about Rush and all those horrible people on the Right, just go ahead with your own perverted follies.

  1. Right, manufactured by Rush Limbaugh himself, and piled on by all his acolytes, like you, Yorkshire.

Without any basis in fact, he deemed Sandra (he called her Susie) Fluke a slut and a prostitute. And you don’t find fault with that, Yorkshire, your being the father of a daughter, Dana of two, Hitchcock of one?

You people have a really serious case of social dysfunction syndrome, and are in dire need of treatment. I’ll bet your wives don’t agree with your chauvinistic extremism. Good grief!!!

  2. When you type a thing like that Wagonwheel, I picture you in a tie-died moomoo, with a joint in your hand and your lesbian lover stroking her Pomeranian on a Malibu beach.

  3. Singing: I’d like to teach the world to sing…in perfect harmony. While in the backround your gay “friend” fries up tofu on an environmentaly “safe” hibachi in front of your VW Microbus. Some sprouts, a little lemon grass and you’ve got a feast fit for a queen.

Please delete Wagonwheel’s above comment timestamped 23:20 for violating the Comments and Conduct Policy.

Susie Snow Fluke put herself out there as this oh so poor 23 no 30 year old Law Student who needed contraception now. But that big bad school wouldn’t provide her any on principle. Who started this, the Right, no the Left. Deal with it.

  6. Suddenly, there’s a cloud burst. You shed your moomoo and run blistfully toward the thundering surf. Your “friend” sits cross legged like a Buddah as he plucks his citar. As you plunge headlong into a wave you think: There is no God, this is all a dream.

Must be good to live in your little dream world of Utopia.

  7. Now Koolo, don’t start calling for deletions. It just makes us as empty as they are. After all, if the Editor delets stuff that means we can’t go back and laugh, and laugh, and laugh!

  8. ” I’ll bet your wives don’t agree with your chauvinistic extremism. Good grief!!!”

I’ll bet mine does. She’s seen left wing communism first hand. That’s why she’s here, not there.

  9. Here’s a little background info on just who is behind Sandra Fluke:

Excerpt from Jeff Poor’s article of March 8, 2012 at The Daily Caller

O’Reilly: Former Obama Adviser Anita Dunn’s PR firm representing Sandra Fluke

Law student Sandra Fluke is being represented by a former Obama adviser’s PR firm, Bill O’Reilly explained on his Thursday night program “The O’Reilly Factor,” suggesting that the young woman was indirectly planted at the center of the contraception controversy by the Obama administration…

O’Reilly offered his theory Thursday, revealing the unusual circumstances regarding Fluke’s media ascendancy.

“As we reported last night ‘The Factor’ believes Sandra Fluke contraception controversy was manufactured to divert attention away from the Obama administration’s disastrous decision to force non-Catholic organizations to provide insurance coverage for birth control and the ‘morning after’ pill. That might very well be unconstitutional.”

…O’Reilly went on to reveal that SKDKnickerbocker, a PR agency whose managing director is former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, is now representing Fluke. Dunn is perhaps best known for her attack on Fox News and for naming Chinese revolutionary and Communist leader Mao Tse Tung as one of her favorite political philosophers back in 2009.

“Now, late today we found out that Ms. Fluke is now being [represented] by the progressive PR industry SKDKnickerbocker where Anita Dunn, the former Obama communications director is the managing [director]. Ah-ha. So this whole deal comes back to the White House, at least indirectly.”

Why, why, why that’s just because the evil American government has spent all of the years since our illegal blocking of the peaceful Korean reunification in 1950-1953 trying to isolate the noble Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, forcing unnecessary hardships on the heroic and self-sacrificing Korean people, united under the wise leadership of the great Comrade Kim Il-sung and his courageous son and grandson. All true freedom-loving people know that it is only under the banner of socialism where liberty and justice can be found.

  11. BTW, we could improve our relations with DPRK’s chubby leaders virtually overnight if we would only lift our puritanical restrictions on the export of dirty magazines and pornographic videos to the People’s Republic (especially ones featuring uncompromising blonds administering discipline to naughty little boys).

As I said at the end of the other thread, and the issue of this thread is this “controversy” has been manufactured as a distraction. One question to ask – Why has Ms Fluke just spoken up now near the end of her third and final year at GU? Why didn’t she speak sooner if this was the burning issue of her life? It’s just another Obama fiasco that has blown up in his face.

  13. One question to ask – Why has Ms Fluke just spoken up now near the end of her third and final year at GU? Why didn’t she speak sooner if this was the burning issue of her life?

OK, York, I’ll take a stab: This may be Fluke’s 3rd year in law school, but it’s also the first time Obama has to run for reelection since the time when she first entered GU, and since her sponsors include Nancy Pelosi and Anita Dunn, and since the Left is desperate to frame the current debate in terms of contraception instead of Obama’s unconstitutional assault on religious freedom, I’d say it’s likely Fluke is more of a conveniently available sleeper recently awakened to fulfill an emergency assignment.

Then that sorta puts her back in the “Useful Idiot” column. Wonder if Anita Dunn paid for her services with contraception for life. But, how she acted here is she will be a litigious lawyer. So, she will be screwing people all the rest of her life.

  15. Well maybe Fluke was a sub-distraction. The real distraction is the gas hike it self. Obama is purposely avoiding a solution and in fact is doing everything he can to worsen it. It hits everyone personally, in their pocketbook. I believe it’s meant to distract us from all the other shenanigans that infringe on our rights and trample on the constitution. He alienates States right to self preservation all the while supporting tyrants and shows disdain toward our Allies with inaction…and the list goes on.

  16. Well, Anne, let me just address the first point, and ignore all the rest of you unsubstantiated, partisan comments.

Please explain in detail exactly what you think any American President can do short-term about gasoline prices? Tell us about your silver bullet, Anne.

Longer term, President Obama is doing the following:

    1. Increasing domestic oil production, already up 20% since President Obama took office,

    2. Encouraging investments in alternate energy sources, such as solar and wind,

    3. Requiring increased fuel efficiency standards for vehicles used in the US,

    4. Opening up on-shore and off-shore acerage for crude oil production,

    5. Encouraging safe extraction our vast reserves of natural gas from underground shale,

    6. Continuing foreign policy initiatives to bring more calm to the Middle East oil producers,

    7. Having an overall policy to reduce our dependence on foreign oil to zero.

Unfortunately, President Obama is the recipient of decades of neglect by Presidents from both parties who refused to follow up on President Carter’s initiative in 1979, which I have pointed out before on here.

So please, Anne, tell us what more the President should be doing.

  17. SINP writes

    4. Opening up on-shore and off-shore acerage for crude oil production,

    Nope. See previous comment.

    5. Encouraging safe extraction our vast reserves of natural gas from underground shale

IOW, interminably delaying such production since it doesn’t fit his energy “view” all the while throwing money down the crapper supporting “alternatives.” (see: Solyndra.)

    6. Continuing foreign policy initiatives to bring more calm to the Middle East oil producers

Right. And this is working out so well: Syria in chaos, Egypt reverting to an Islamic regime, Iran developing nukes, Pakistan an al Qaeda haven, Afghanistan degenerating into what it was before we went in there.

    7. Having an overall policy to reduce our dependence on foreign oil to zero

    Strictly words with no substance.
